GENERAL TERMS
United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile and we abide by the laws of Dubai. We do not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries. The website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy may be changed or updated. For this reason, customers are encouraged to frequently visit both sections to be updated about the changes on the website.
SUBSCRIPTION
By purchasing any of our subscription plans, the meal plan delivery will start from the date you selected. We will not auto debit your credit card as we do not have an automatic recurring subscription.
In order to purchase a subscription from our website, you must first register to set up an account with us by completing the registration form on the Little Bento website. Occasionally, you will be allowed to make a booking through WhatsApp, in this case, a payment link will be provided to you.
In order to register an account, you must be a resident in the UAE and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Terms. By creating an account, you are confirming that you are 21 years of age or older.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the information provided when registering an account is accurate and true. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the information in the account is updated.
The customer is responsible for all activities and purchases that occur under his/her account. The customer must notify us immediately if he/she knows of, or suspect, that anyone has obtained access to his/her account or if he/she otherwise becomes aware of any unauthorized use of the account or other security breach. Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts.
QUALITY AND STANDARDS
Little Bento’s meals are packed and transported under strict supervision. The meals are prepared, packed and sent to you in cooler bags. We strive to maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene. The raw materials we procure are fresh and undergo multiple quality checks before being used.
If you do not like the taste of the food, no refund will be provided. Any disputes or negative feedback shall be addressed directly to the company. Any such public actions or false allegations might be subject to legal action as per the UAE Law.
DELIVERY
We currently deliver in all 7 Emirates in the UAE using our chiller vans for the delivery service. If a delivery is suspended for any reason, we will notify you and refund will be provided (as applicable).
- Please note that orders have to be placed at least 2 days in advance before the expected delivery date.
- Please note that Weekly subscription plans include 5 days of delivery and monthly subscription plans include 22 days of delivery.
- No delivery will be provided during the weekends.
- When receiving Little Bento meals, it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the food is refrigerated and safely stored.
- Make sure to heat it in an oven or a microwave before consuming it.
- We deliver between 2 to 6 am unless otherwise specified. It is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct address and inform the security of the delivery. No refund will be provided for any issues arising from the customer's mistake with regards to delivery.
- We charge a deposit for our cooler bags and ice packs. It is the duty of the customer to return the ice packs and bags in good condition. Once all the bags and ice packs are received, the deposit with be partially refunded. A deduction of AED 20 will be charged as per our policy.
- The partial refund will take 5 to 10 business days to reflect in your account, once the bags are collected.
- In certain cases, we might inform the customer to dispose off the bags and in this case, however, the partial refund will be issued within 3 days from the end date of the subscription.
FOOD ALLERGIES
Please note that our food may contain ingredients such as nuts, dairy, or gluten. The food is prepared in a facility where the allergens are used and could cause cross contamination. We advise those with extreme allergy to not proceed with the order. Note : a dislike is different from allergy.
We can try to accommodate some allergies. However, we might decline your order in cases for certain allergy information provided.If you have any type of food allergy, it is the customer's responsibility to inform us prior to placing the order. We cannot be held responsible for any food allergies that may occur as a result of consuming our food.
You may select to exclude some items that you dislike. We will try our best to eliminate them from your meals, however, a complete removal cannot be guaranteed at all times.
PAYMENT
Card payment (in advance) is the accepted mode of payment. We will send you a payment confirmation to the email you registered with us after the successful completion of the transaction.
CANCELLATION
Once subscribed, cancellation is not allowed for whatever reason. If you wish to stop receiving the meals, this can be done, however, no refund will be provided. In certain cases, you will be allowed to pause your subscription. This is solely under the discretion of the management of Little Bento.
RETURN POLICY
We regret to inform you that we do not entertain a return policy once the delivery of the food is completed on time.
CHANGE IN PRICES
Prices may be subject to change at our discretion, without prior notice. Prices of paid orders will not change. The price of any purchased subscriptions will not change without prior notifications.
APPLICABLE LAW
Your use of this website is governed by these Terms and Conditions and construed and enforced in accordance with the applicable laws of Dubai, UAE. Disputes arising from your use of this website and the services we provide are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
